GDANSK — Daimler Truck on Wednesday said third quarter sales fell by 11 per cent, dragged down by its main Mercedes-Benz Trucks brand and its Asian unit.

The world’s biggest truckmaker delivered 114,917 units in July through September, versus 128,861 in the same period last year.

The third quarter deliveries of fully battery electric trucks rose 36 per cent to 666 units from 491 units last year.
