Powin's Advanced Battery Technology to Be Integrated Into New DTE Energy Storage Center

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global energy storage platform provider Powin LLC (Powin), today announced it will supply its advanced battery storage technology to support DTE Energy's new energy storage center in Michigan. Powin's 880 megawatt-hour system will be installed at the site of DTE's retired Trenton Channel Power Plant, a century-old coal-fired facility. The new battery system will deliver reliable, emission-free power to DTE's 2.3 million electric customers in southeast Michigan...
