Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind is a 50:50 partnership between Shell New Energies US LLC and EDF Renewables North America. The Atlantic Shores lease area is located about 15-30 km (10-20 miles) off the coast of New Jersey, between Atlantic City and Barnegat Light. Projects 1 and 2 have already received BOEM approval, with the capacity to generate over 2.8 GW of renewable wind electricity to meet the growing demands of multiple east coast markets including New Jersey and New York.
