Dongfeng Motor Corporation Ltd is a Chinese state-opened automobile manufacturer based in Wuhan, Hubei. Founded in 1969, in 2023 it was the smallest of China’s “Big Four” state-owned car manufacturers, with 671,000, behind SAIC Motor, Changan Automobile and FAW Group. Dongfeng develops and markets vehicles under its own branding, including Fengdu, Voyah, Aeolus, Forthing, as well as under joint ventures such as Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Nissan and Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën (via subsidiary Dongfeng Motor Group).
