Northern Lights is developing the world’s first open-source CO2 transport and storage infrastructure. We deliver carbon storage as a service. Our aim is to help industrial emitters stop emissions that cannot be avoided in other ways from reaching the atmosphere and to provide a safe and permanent storage option for CO2 that is removed from the air. Northern Lights was incorporated in March 2021 as a partnership between Equinor, Shell and TotalEnergies. We are part of a growing movement to actively manage the carbon cycle and get it back in balance. As we develop our business, we will share, listen and encourage innovation and technology development.
