Focus on Sunrise Wind

Sunrise Wind is a 924-megawatt (MW) offshore wind farm located roughly 48 km (30 miles) off the coast of New York’s Montauk Point. Sunrise Wind is being developed by Ørsted (Orsted), the global leader in offshore wind development and a pioneer in America growing offshore wind development. Sunrise is under construction and expected to be operating in 2026. It is among the largest offshore wind projects in U.S. history.
